National Technical Honor Society
The mission of the National Technical Honor Society is to honor student achievement and leadership, promote educational excellence, and enhance career opportunities for the membership.
The purpose of membership is the benchmark – the highest award for excellence in workforce education in America.
There are over 1,500 chapters of the National Technical Honor Society in the United States. Our MTC chapter was granted a charter in 1997.To be inducted into the honor society, the students had to have met strict criteria and been nominated by their instructors. The criteria for induction includes, having an “A” average with at least 50% completion of their program, good attendance, and the characteristics of honor society members: leadership, honesty, responsibility, and good character.
