Day of Beauty fundraiser April 2 at Manatee Technical College

(Bradenton, FL—March 17, 2016)   Treat yourself to a Day of Beauty on Saturday, April 2, 2016.  Cosmetology students at Manatee Technical College are offering manicures, pedicures, haircuts, hair color, facials, waxing and more to raise money to compete at the National SkillsUSA Championships.  Prices for services vary.  Most services are by appointment only beginning at 8 a.m.

Nails:  Specials that day include a “mani-pedi” at a special price of $25 (normally $30).  Pedicures will be $15, and manicures $10.  Gel/sculptured nails will be $15.  Please call 941.751.7900 x 1145 for an appointment.

Hair:  Shampoo and blow-dry—no style—will be $5 (normally $10).  Haircuts start at $8, edges at $4.  Walk-ins for shampoo/haircut are welcome from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.   Color is $45; foils are $55—style included.  Chemical services are also available.  For an appointment, please call 941.751.7900 x 1144.

Skin:  European facials are $23.  Deep pore cleansing facials are $26.  Waxing begins at $8.  Facial and waxing appointments are available at 9:00, 10:00 and 11:00; please call 941.751.7900 x 1080.

Manatee Technical College is located at 6305 E. State Road 70, Bradenton.  The salon will close at 4 p.m.
