BRADENTON — Manatee Technical College will host a career expo, job fair and open house on Dec. 9

Hiring managers from more than 50 local businesses and educators will meet with anyone interested in applying for jobs, including current and future students.

Ted Ehrlichman, President and CEO of CareerSource Suncoast, was pleased with the turnout at last year’s event. More than 1,000 people came out to the job fair, calling it a “great opportunity for employers to connect with job seekers in the community.”

“It’s also a great chance for employers and the community to see MTC’s amazing programs and instructors, who are turning out highly skilled and job ready candidates,” he added

Participating employers and educators include A Life at Home Health Care, City of Sarasota, Feld Entertainment, Goodwill, Inside/Out, Manatee County Government, New England Machinery, Pierce Manufacturing, State College of Florida, SouthTech, Teakdecking Systems, TriNet, U.S. Army and Westminster Towers & Shores.

The Career Expo, Job Fair and Open House will take place from 3 – 7 p.m. Dec. 9 at Manatee Technical College, 6305 SR 70 East in Bradenton. This event is open to the public and employers will have positions ranging from entry-level to experienced.
