GED® Testing Details

Overview:

The GED® Test is the only High School Equivalency Test offered in Florida. The test consists of four modules that must be passed separately. The fee for each module is $32 ($128 total).  

  1. Reasoning Through Language Arts (155 min)
  2. Mathematics (120 min)
  3. Social Studies (75 min)
  4. Science (95 min)

  • Test Candidates may not be enrolled in any K12 school
  • Test Candidates must be at least 16 years of age. 16- and 17-year-old candidates must request an Underage Waiver before they can schedule their tests. Contact SilvaL@Manateeschools.net or 941.751.7900 ext. 46045 for more information.

  • Test Candidates must have a valid, non-expired government-issued picture ID with address and signature. The name and address on the ID must match the https://ged.com account information

Register for your test at https://ged.com or by contacting Pearson Vue at 877-392-6433 
Students should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the test start time. 

The GED® Diploma is issued by the Florida Department of Education.
