“Sarasota-Bradenton Project Guide Right, Inc. was established in 1999 as a non-profit, tax-exempt, publicly supported organization. Its purpose is to support the outreach of activities of the Sarasota (FL) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. to young men in our community.”
MISSION
To be the best cultural, educational, and financial resource for youth in Sarasota and Manatee Counties, with a special emphasis on disadvantaged African American youth.

Dear Educational Partner / Parent / Friend:
Please see the below application for the Sarasota-Bradenton Technical scholarship for 2024. All applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. A student from Manatee or Sarasota County.
2. A 2023/2024 graduating high school senior or student currently enrolled in a certified technical certificate or degree program.
3. Have a minimum GPA of 2.0.
4. Present one (1) letter of recommendation from school representative.
5. Present a high school or college transcript.
6. Present a letter of acceptance from a university/college (not required with initial application if not received).
7. Requires FAFSA
Attached please find a copy of a Scholarship Application Form. The completed packet may be emailed to cjwillis07@yahoo.com, or returned via mail to Sarasota (FL) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. P.O. Box 573, Tallevast, FL 34270 by Friday, March 22, 2024. Awardees will be notified in writing of their status by Friday, March 29, 2024. If your program starts earlier, please indicate in writing so we can evaluate earlier. Applications must be legible; if the application is not legible it may affect your application decision.
