Business briefs: Kitchens tour set for The Concession | Business | Bradenton Herald

MANATEE — The fifth annual Tour of Kitchens will be held at The Concession.

The tour is set for 2-7 p.m. March 15. Select model homes will be open to “tour the kitchens,” taste food and wine, converse with the chefs and mingle with other guests. As a finale, guests can participate in a silent auction and enjoy desserts prepared by Manatee Technical College baking and pastry students under the direction of chef Dana Johnson of Sugar Cubed.

Participating developers are Anchor Homes, Emerald Homes, Neal Signature Homes, Arthur Rutenberg Homes, Lee Wetherington Homes, and John Cannon Homes. Sponsors include Cox Chevrolet, AC Warehouse, and the Manatee-Sarasota Building Industry Association.

Tickets are $55 per person. A VIP package for $800 includes limousine service, a bottle of champagne and tickets for a party of eight. Tickets may be ordered online at www.mtifoundation.org or by sending a check made payable to MTI Foundation, PO Box 15239, Bradenton, FL 34280.
