Masonry apprentices to demonstrate their skills Oct 27, 6-8 p.m.

(Bradenton, FL—October 25, 2016)  Manatee Technical College Masonry Apprentice students will demonstrate their skills Thursday, October 27, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the MTC Main Campus.

The Florida Masonry Apprentice & Educational Foundation is inviting the public to attend the brick and block masonry demonstration to see what the students are learning and to learn more about the apprenticeship program.  The apprentice program slogan is “Training Masons to Build Florida—One Block at a Time.”

The annual percent growth for masonry job openings is among the highest of all jobs on the 2016-17 Regional Demand Occupations List in the Manatee-Sarasota two-county area.

Manatee Technical College is located in Bradenton at 6305 E. State Road 70, one mile west of I-75.
