(Bradenton, FL—February 18, 2017)   The threat of rain didn’t keep about 1,000 people from attending the 5th Annual Car, Truck and Bike Show at Manatee Technical College on Saturday.  It did cut it short by an hour though.

The show had just under 100 entrants.  Entries included classic, vintage, muscle and custom vehicles.

Gary Wolff and his wife Susan were showing a 2011 Mustang.  “We come here every year to support the students,” said Wolff.

Students made the trophies—all of which looked unique enough to be collectibles themselves.

1956 Ford Fairlaine Club Sedan at MTC Car Show was among close to 100 entries

The show raised over $1,500 to support automotive students compete at SkillsUSA conferences in auto service technology and collision repair and refinishing.

Sponsors who helped make that possible included Bill Lee Race Cars, Gettel Automotive Family of Dealerships, Sunset Automotive Group, Conley Subaru, Conley Buick/GMC, Alex Karras LINCOLN, Cox Chevrolet, AutoNation, Callaghan Tire, The Parts House, Fidelity Bank, O’Reilly Auto Parts, Snap-on, Matco Tools, Chick-fil-A and Miller’s Snack Shack.
