MTC Nail Tech and Cosmo students help at Stand Down

MTC students help homeless veterans at Stand Down. Elsy Cruz and Luz Miro, nail specialty students at Manatee Technical College, doing manicures at the 2017 Stand Down for Homeless Veterans. They and nine of their classmates gave 33 manicures at the November 4 event at the Manatee County Fairgrounds. “The students enjoyed the experience so much, some of them asked if they could participate after they complete the course and are working,” said instructor Brenda Ayers. “I think that says a lot about how much they enjoyed being able to do this for them.”
