MTC student wins design contest

Ashley Mitchell, a Manatee Technical College student in the digital design program, was the winner in the 20+ category of the Mana-Con Art Challenge.  The challenge was part of the Seventh Annual Mana-Con Comics Convention at the Manatee County Public Library.  Winners received a signed copy of the 2016 Mana-Con poster designed by local graffiti and mural artist, Richie Brasil, as well as a collector’s edition Mana-Con t-shirt.  Mitchell used Brasil’s design as an inspiration for her winning entry.
