MTC students enjoy helping teens fulfill dream

(Bradenton, FL—December 14, 2018) Everyone has their dreams.  Some want to build airplanes.  Some want to fly them.  Some want to paint them.

When Manatee Technical College automotive collision technology technician students, ages 18-26, had the opportunity to paint an airplane built by teens ages 12-17 of the Teen Aircraft Factory of Manasota, they were very happy to help.  Everyone in the class has touched some part of the project.

Attached photos feature students Niko Macias and Efrain Becerra applying primer, then high gloss paint to the body of the disassembled aluminum aircraft.

They will be painting the bright blue detail work during the week of December 17.
