MTI STUDENTS COMPLETE CITIZENSHIP PROJECT (Bradenton Herald)
MTI students Lesvia Franco and Sebastian Martines pose with instructors Barbara Lasser and Vera Bourenina after participating in a SkillsUSA citizenship project. The digital videography class created a DVD of Franco, Martines and Bourenina sharing what it meant to them to become U.S. Citizens. For all three naturalized citizens, it was an emotional event. The class played the video for the MTI student body on Constitution Day. Also part of the project that day, students had the opportunity to register to vote.
