Celebrating “Cinco de Mayo” on May 3

(Bradenton, FL) The Farmworker Education and Services Program, the Latino community, and Manatee Technical Institute (MTI) are proud to present the 13th Annual Multicultural Festival celebrating “Cinco de Mayo” on Friday, May 3, from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. at the MTI New Main Campus located at 6305 State Road 70 East in Bradenton.

The Multicultural Festival at the new MTI Main Campus offers a unique experience to showcase our cultures, give the public the opportunity to enjoy a tour of the new MTI main campus facilities and learn more about career opportunities.

The purpose of the festival is to celebrate the cultural diversity in our community, the 48th anniversary of the Farmworker Education Program in Manatee County, and to raise money for the Farmworker Scholarship Fund. This fund is used to provide scholarships and school tuition for students.

The public is encouraged to attend; the event is free of charge. A live band will play Latin music, folkloric dancers will perform, there will be a fashion show, and various vendors will provide ethnic food. If you would like more information, please call the Farmworker Education Program at 751-7947 or 751-7900 ext. 1048, or stop by our office on the MTI main campus on State Road 70.
