Program Description

RN9917 (40 hours)

This forty (40) hour course is for current State of Florida certified firefighters that have not gained employment within the past three and a half (3.5) years from the time you have passed your state test. Please check with the State to ensure that you are eligible to take this course and be re-certified (352-369-2800 #3). This course is divided into 2 parts, lecture, and practical skills. All required documentation for recertification will be given to the students upon completion of the class. Also, upon completion of the class, students will be required to request recertification through the Bureau of Fire Standards & Training. If your FFII certification expires within 6 months of the start of this course you must contact the State at 352-369-2800 #3 to ensure that you will be able to test and recertify in this course.
