Program Description

This course provides students with an understanding of healthcare related medical terms. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to effectively identify, understand, and utilize medical terms as required in the field of healthcare.Applicants must apply online to be invited to the course.

Important Information

You will have access to your account at NHA for 12 months after beginning the course. HOWEVER, your access to the MTC Canvas instructor access terminology course will end after six weeks. You will have to re-enroll if you do not achieve an 80% or greater at the end of the six-week course.

Transfer credit will be given if you successfully passed an approved college-level course, received an 80% or higher grade, and can prove that with an official transcript. The course must have been taken within two (2) years of the PN program start date.

The course consists of quizzes, examinations, and case studies taking approximately six (6) weeks to complete. It must be completed by the date given to you by the admissions counselor. It is delivered via Canvas LMS with a third party link and instructor monitored for participation and questions.
